Review: Time Mends (Timber Wolves #2)

Time Mends (Timber Wolves Trilogy, #2)

Title: Time Mends(Timber Wolves #2)
Author: Tammy Blackwell

Summary:
After a tragic accident leaves her battered, heartbroken, and alone, Scout Donovan would rather hide in dreams than face reality. But things are changing quickly in Scout's life. Soon she's pulled back into the world of Shifters and Seers, with her best friend's fate depending on Scout's ability to protect her. Can Scout pull it together in time to save Talley, or is the past too much to overcome?
Review:
(There will be spoilers from the first book in this review- so If you haven’t read the first book- be forewarned)
SO- This story starts almost immediately where the first one stops. Scout has been injured by her brother in coyote form and attempting to recover (though it is proving difficult), Alex is dead, and now she and Charlie aren’t speaking.
She also is having dreams (that are almost too real) where she sees and speaks with Alex still, trying to keep him alive in her mind. But that’s not it… exactly one month after the horrible accident, during the next full moon, Scout also changes. Though she was not born with shifter blood, she is now turning into an arctic wolf (indicative of her albino-ish features)
This causes a lot of issues with the Hagan pack, and with basically everyone, because it is impossible for someone not born with shifter blood to change. She is basically cast out alone, (but you know her friends wouldn’t leave her alone) when someone close to them betrays their trust and brings in the Alpha Pack (basically the shifter king and queen) threatening her of witchcraft and being Satans minion (since she can change even when she wasn’t born with shifter blood)
By the end… there are so many unanswered questions, so many questions I am DYING to know the answer too!! The story is very fast paced, moving from one issue to the next flawlessly. The tension just builds and builds, and of course my favorite characters are all back! I love Scout even more, because even though she has issues, she truly tries to do the right thing. I love Charlie, and even still love Alex. Talley is awesome, and Jace… well he is Jace.
Finally now that the third book is out, I might actually get some answers!!
Rating: 5 stars!

  2. Sounds like an interesting story, although I can't read much of the review. Have an aversion to spoilers, you see. :-D
