Feature Follow

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Q: What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can’t deal with bad editing?

A. I dont like poorly edited books, but if its only a few mistakes, thats ok. What I really cant stand is when there is a grammatcial error, or misspelled word on EVERY freakin page. When its so obvious, it makes you wonder what the heck the author was thinking even publishing it. (i suppose this is more with self-published books)

Also, I am SOOO tired of love triangles.

Anyways, let me know if you are a new follower, so I can come follow back

  1. My problem with love triangles is just my heart can't take it! Especially if she doesn't pick the person I want! lol

As far as editorial mistakes, I read so fast that I generally don't notice them unless is the wrong word all together.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good weekend!

  2. Yeah love triangles are kind of getting old. I hate the whole "team" thing. Like you were saying our teen girls really wanting 2 guys fighting over her? Sure it's nice, but then it gets to the point where the girl is the *itch because she "can't decide" and is stringing them both along!

Yeah, I can get on a rant sometimes! ;)

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  3. Some love triangles are really great, but they've become so popular that it does get a bit annoying.

  4. Same! I can't concentrate on the actually story if there are too many mistakes. Thanks for stopping by :) Old follower.

  5. Like you, bad grammar and misspelling can completely ruin my enjoyment of a book. I do have a bit of leeway for self-published books, but I still ask that the writers at least have some knowledge of proper English usage. Old follower.

  6. Great answer! I'm the same way, I can deal with a little bit of bad editing or errors but when it gets to be every other page, I lose interest FAST! Thanks for sharing & for stopping by my FFF earlier

  7. Some love triangles bore me to death by how long they are dragged out. But some are really well written too.
