Review: The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden, #2)

Title: The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden #2)
Author: Julie Kagawa

Summary:
Allison Sekemoto has vowed to rescue her creator, Kanin, who is being held hostage and tortured by the psychotic vampire Sarren. The call of blood leads her back to the beginning—New Covington and the Fringe, and a vampire prince who wants her dead yet may become her wary ally.

Even as Allie faces shocking revelations and heartbreak like she’s never known, a new strain of the Red Lung virus
that decimated humanity is rising to threaten human and vampire alike.

Review:
Wow! So… where do I even start with this?

The majority of this book is Allie trying to find Kanin, then trying to find a cure, But Sarren is back (the bigg bad guy who really wants to kill everyone) and he continuously gets in their way. See, he was looking for a cure too, but not to save everyone, but to morph it into a new virus that would basically kill everyone. What little hope they have left is in Eden.

Jackal is back too, and though he is a ruthless, crazy vampire, for some reason I don’t hate him that much. Kanin is back, but then something terrible happens to him. But I wont spoil it for you.

And of course Zeke. We all know and love good ol Zeke. I didn’t know at first how he would fit into this story line, surrounded by vampires while he is still human. But he managed to worm his way into the plot and into my heart. Sweet Zeke… So brave and fearless!

The romance is so small, you feel it and see it, but its so behind the scenes because there are so many more important things going on.

There was a killer ending. Good and bad all at the same time! BUT waiting for the next book will seriously suck!!

Rating: 5 Stars. (I cant think of ONE negative thing about this book at all!)
