About Me

My name is Theresa Jones and I am living in my fairy tale. I am a newlywed- got married to the man of my dreams earlier this year. Together we have two children, Dani- my oldest. She is the smartest six year old I have ever met. She reads, just like her mom, all the time. And though she is only in kindergarten, she is reading 2nd grade chapter books. Max- my second, is the cutest little baby boy of all time. He is squishy and soft and has the biggest smile, the kind of smile that makes your heart swell and the room light.
I work full time at a school district, where I am helping to fix computers and other electronic equipment. Thankfully, I have a very rewarding job, which makes leaving my children with other people all day long, slightly easier.
I have the best mother any person could ask for, and she is my hero. If I could grow to be half the mother she is, than I will have fulfilled my goal in life to be the best mother for my children.
I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. And many nieces, all of whom fill my life with joy and love. I also am blessed with many loving, caring, HILARIOUS friends who make my life complete.
I am an aspiring author. I have written my first book, currently sitting at 78000 words. It is a New Adult (Mature YA) paranormal romance novel, and will be the first in a Trilogy. I also have plans to write another Paranormal romance series- but that has just started to come to life.
I just recently started blogging, and MAN OH MAN I cannot believe the amazing people I have run across so far!
I love to read, write, paint, draw, work, smile, laugh, love, sing, dance and live. I thank GOD everyday for every blessing He has given me.
This blog will focus on my writing, the books I read along with reviews on those books, and anything else life brings.

DeleteI discovered your books through your daughter's blog and will definitely look into them. I am a big reader myself! I'm volunteering at the local library this summer to promote childhood literacy and think having a parent who is an author can really help steer kids in the right direction. Dani seems to have a passion for books too. Do you think she might become an author someday and follow your footsteps?

Yes, we do love books in my house. Dani has been reading since she was 4 years old, and her passion for books has never decreased.
DeleteShe does write. She's written the beginnings to a couple of book, and I think she has finished one.
I think it would be an amazing thing if she decides to pursue the (sometimes fearfully difficult) path of becoming an author!
Currently, her plans for the future are to become a science professor at a college, where she will have access to a lab- so she can invent things (like self-cleaning clothes) and teach people things, and then she can still write.
So...Im 100% great with these plans. ;)
