Writing a second novel in a series... and UPDATES.

So, I finally finished revising and editing (for the tenth time) my newest novel. It’s the first book in a new series, Empyrean Chronicles. And, in my opinion, my BEST book!

It is now in the hands of my trusted Beta, Ariel Avalon!

When I finally ended it- closed it up- said: THE END. I didn’t know what else to do. Where to go from there.

This is really the first time my brain has experienced the dreaded WRITERS BLOCK!

 *gasp*

Yeah, I just went there.

For the last few months Ive been done with The Empyrean. I just didn’t know where to go from there. I had ideas. I knew what would happen. But how did I write it? How did I follow up that story with something better (or at least just as good.)

BUT Ive done it! Ive figured it out. I know where to go, what to write, what words to choose, what path to take!

And Im writing again!

YAY!

Anyways, for those of you wondering about the final book in The Descendant Trilogy, that book will be coming out…after I write it. And I’m not planning on writing that until after I’ve written this next book. 

I DO however have a novella for that series that will be coming out in the near months. It will be falling between book 2 and book 3 and will be told from Sam’s POV. (hopefully at the beginning of the Summer. And then the final book in The Descendant Trilogy should be coming out beginning of next year. Hopefully. Keep your fingers crossed.)

So- there are my updates.

Also, just a tip for you when you get writers block...

When in doubt- write. Even if it’s not what you planned on writing, or what you wanted to write at first, or what you think you should write. Write anyways. Just do it.
