Q: Jumping Genres: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don't like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.

A: I usually stick to the same genre- Paranormal Romance. Adult or YA- I dont even care. But a genre I dont normally read...Well I read this book call On The Island. It was a story about a woman and teenage boy being stranded on an island after a plane crash, and they developed a romance. It was pretty contraversial because the woman was 30 and teh boy 16 when it happened. The romance didnt develop until he was 18, but still... it was wierd. Despite that, it was a good book that REALLY made you think.

  1. Wow that a very controversial book! Usually its the girl that younger and the boy the boy is older but its always good to mix it up a little. Old follower! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

  3. Sounds interesting. Romances with such big gaps like that tend to weird me out sometimes, but then when you look at my paranormals they're the same! 200 year old vamp and 20-something woman! But in my defense the vamp usually looks to be 20-something too! ;)

  4. I want to read On The Island as well! I usually read PNR, UF, romance, chick lit, YA or erotica... So the Christian romance I read was very different!
